Glock 43 Vs Sig P365 - Sig Sauer is a legend in the firearms business. There is no doubt about it. They are loved by everyone, including the military, who have started using Sig pistols as standard weapons.
The Civic side is very similar with great offerings for full, compact and subcompact. The P365 is one of the most popular firearms on the market.

I absolutely love the look of this little subcompact. Very low profile, very close to the size of the Glock 43. It's very thin despite holding 10 bullets + 1 in the chamber. I actually would consider the P365 to be the best concealable pistol for its size and power.

It's extremely easy to conceal, and I'd call it a real pocket weapon. I didn't actually use the fanny pack. Instead, I was using a pocket sticky shell. It worked well with shorts, especially in the summer. The P365 has become one of my favorites for summer carry or other super minimal, low profile protection. Doesn't sacrifice too much on one side
Compared to many other subcompacts, the P365 stocks are far superior to their 6 and 7 round counterparts. I've always felt that carrying less than ten rounds in my first defensive handgun was a bit sketchy. The P365 does this with flair and lets me pack 10 bullets in a crazy little package.
As with most pistols, accuracy is largely determined by the shooter. The P365 performed well with precision. No wildfires or anything. Sights work great, but a little too small for optics.
The response is very fast. But it's what I expected from every semi-compact pistol I've tested. The short barrel length doesn't really do you any favors when kicking. I'm not holding this against Sig.

I found the reliability very satisfying. I had a breakdown, but I think it might be a management issue on my part. I bet if I practiced with this pistol every day, it would have returned perfectly in a bad state.
At $599.99 MSRP it's not terribly expensive. It may seem like a bit too much for such a small pistol, but you really get your money's worth with the P365.
I can't really say that I have any problems with the Sig Sauer P365. In fact, it seems to be my main spring and summer pistol. The visuals are beautiful and I love the compact magnetic power.

Ever since Sig's new P365 micro-compact pistol was announced, I've been looking forward to its arrival. I had the pleasure of using the pistol at the Sig Sauer booth at the SHOT Show, but missed the opportunity to shoot on a range day. It looks like Sig Sauer has its own range and the range industry won't be attending its day. I learned a lesson. Luckily, my local gun store reserved a P365 for my first come, first served purchase. I've been carrying a Glock 43 stack ever since it hit the scene and it's been a pleasure. Will the new Sig P365 replace my tried and true Glock? Because of the similarities between these two excellent pistols, I'll go into details and explain the differences.

Given the dimensional information above, it's undeniable that these two pistols are strikingly similar. I think what makes them different; capacity, attractions and cost. And don't forget the trigger feeling. I don't have any measurements for this category, but I'd say the stock Sig trigger pulls softer and has a cleaner break than the factory Glock trigger. In fact, more than half of my Glocks have aftermarket triggers for this very reason.
Another important difference is the landscape. Sig XRAY3, it was nice to add a set of Day/Night scenes. With a Glock, you get the standard $12 plastic sights. These are powerful factors to consider when comparing the price difference of micro-compact pistols.
Dimensionally speaking, the Sig magnetic well measures 31/32″. It's the same place where the Glock measures 7/8 inch. This small difference was used by Sig engineers to mount the steel double-stack magazine to the polymer handle. The result is a similarly sized pistol with 4 extra 9mm rounds on the Glock 43. That's why I still love how the Glock feels in my hand. Although similar in width, the Glock grip is much wider from front to back and fits my hand a little better. Compared to the Glock 43, the Sig feels smaller and the grip angle is slightly steep to the skid.

The two barrels are 29 inches apart from each other, and I didn't see any measurable difference in shooting defense with these pistols. Let's just say these are not target weapons. Sig literature says the chamber and barrel are rated +P. I've noticed that the barrel wall on the Sig is slightly thicker than on the Glock. But I've been shooting +P defensive ammo on my Glock 43 for years with no issues. Both pistols feature a flash compatible magazine and a pink extended magazine. The extension does not add any additional features to the log. However, Sig currently sells the factory +2 extended magazine I ordered. Allows for 12 rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber, twice the capacity of the Glock 43.
While the Glock feels a little more comfortable in my hand, I don't think that's a strong enough argument not to use the Sig as a new everyday load. As you can see in the short video below, there is no substitute for power. Additionally, the trigger and night sights make the P365 a clear winner in my book. Sig also incorporated a proprietary rail groove into the frame. Rumor has it that Sig Electro Optics is working on a light/laser combination. The only problem I have right now is finding a good IWB holster for the new pistol. At the time of writing, neither Alien Gear nor Bravo Concealment (my two favorites) offer one. But I found one I just ordered from Hazmat Cases.
