Joint Base Lewis-McChord is located 45 miles south of Seattle on Interstate 5. If you are driving, you should have no problem finding Lewis Main. Interstate 5 cuts through parts of JBLM; Exit 120 will take you to the main gate, which is open 24 hours a day.
If you are traveling by plane, you will arrive at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Shuttle service is available from the airport to Waller Hall Welcome on Lewis Main. Many car rental companies are available at the airport with transportation to the destination.

The Lewis-McChord Joint Office DEERS is a program-based system. Reservations can be made up to 120 days before they expire and cards can be added before they expire. In this rural town turned into a big city. "City of Destiny" is famous for its Museum of Glass, with works by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly, and the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, which features animals from the Pacific Ocean. Those who can't live in Seattle or want to travel quickly choose to come here.
